Lila Ibrahim
COO, Google DeepMind
Lila Ibrahim is the Chief Operating Officer of Google DeepMind, one of the world's leading AI research organizations. She oversees the operational strategy, business operations, and organizational management that enable DeepMind's groundbreaking research — including AlphaFold (which predicted the 3D structures of virtually all known proteins) and the Gemini family of AI models.
Before joining DeepMind, Ibrahim was COO of Coursera, the online learning platform, where she led the company's growth and IPO preparation. Earlier in her career, she spent over 16 years at Intel in various engineering and leadership roles, rising to VP and General Manager.

She manages the complex logistics of running a world-class AI research lab — from recruiting top talent to managing computing resources to navigating the regulatory landscape.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
