Women in AI
Sarah Guo
Founder, Conviction VC
Sarah Guo is the founder and managing partner of Conviction, an AI-focused venture capital firm that she launched in 2022. Previously, she was a partner at Greylock Partners, one of Silicon Valley's most prestigious VC firms, where she invested in enterprise software and AI companies.
Guo founded Conviction specifically to invest in companies building with and for AI — recognizing that AI represents a platform shift as significant as the internet and mobile. The fund invests in early-stage AI companies across enterprise software, developer tools, healthcare, and other sectors.
She is also the co-host of 'No Priors,' one of the most popular AI podcasts, alongside Elad Gil. The podcast features deep conversations with leading AI researchers, founders, and investors, offering insider analysis of AI trends, breakthroughs, and industry dynamics.
Before venture capital, Guo studied at Stanford University and began her career at Goldman Sachs. Her combination of investing expertise and deep technical understanding of AI makes her one of the most influential voices in the AI startup ecosystem.
